old friends

"Even though we've changed and we're all finding our own place in the world, we all know that when the tears fall or the smile spreads across our face, we'll come to each other because no matter where this crazy world takes us, nothing will ever change so much to the point where we're not all still friends."

I have had a great couple of days spending time with old friends from high school. Each one of us has changed in so many ways, yet we can still come back together as though time stood still. I am truly blessed to have encountered such people during my high school years. I value each one of these individuals and the friendships we share - even if I only see them once a week or once every couple of months.

Natasha, Michael, Jeff, Tai, Carla and Erica ... thank you for being wonderful friends. And more importantly, thank you for a great weekend -- I truly needed it.
